Visit a Real Coke Oven at the DHS

The beehive coke oven is completed and the beehive dome left visible for visitors to see the beehive oven. (Normally the entire oven would be covered and surrounded by earth or stone.) Plans include covering the dome with a roof to protect it from the weather and to build a pavilion at the park; however, additional funding will be needed to finish these park components. Stone and some building material remain at the site for these future projects. Donations are always welcome!
